Los Angeles Rams 2020 schedule release: Games, dates and times
The Los Angeles Rams have their work cut out for them in a tough NFC West as a retooled roster will look to conquer a challenging schedule.
A lot has changed in the NFL over the past year, but no team has gone through a more drastic overhaul than the Los Angeles Rams. Just two years ago, the Rams went 13-3 and reached the Super Bowl before losing to the New England Patriots with a brilliant young coach in Sean McVay and a rising star quarterback in Jared Goff.
The 2019 season was a disaster for the Rams, who still went 9-7 but missed the playoffs after falling to third place in the NFC West. A series of poor roster decisions has forced the Rams to largely blow up the roster that got them to a Super Bowl, leaving a ton of pressure on McVay and general manager Les Snead to quickly reload.
That has been hard to do without a ton of cap space or draft capital, leaving Los Angeles to hope that Goff’s regression last season was just a blip on the radar. Goff’s massive new contract led to a lot of the Rams’ cap issues, but he still has weapons on the outside to work with like Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp.
Los Angeles is set to move into its new home, SoFi Stadium, this season against a very challenging schedule. Matchups with the San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers loom large for the Rams this season.
When the full 2020 NFL schedule is released, this post will be updated immediately with game dates, times and broadcast information. In the meantime, let’s take a look at the home and road opponents for the Rams in 2020.
