2. San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints

It is going to be a very fun year at the Superdome as the New Orleans Saints have one of the most attractive home schedules in football. This is the third Saints’ home game to make our list with this one featuring a rematch of arguably the most iconic game from the 2019 regular season.

Home field advantage was on the line in New Orleans when the San Francisco 49ers came to town in early December. The Saints jumped out early but the 49ers made a late charge, using a heroic effort from George Kittle late in the game to set up the winning field goal.

San Francisco escaped with a 48-46 win, giving them the inside track to home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. That edge was enough to propel the 49ers all the way to the Super Bowl, but the Saints were not as lucky.

That contest proved to be a key one in tiebreakers for the Saints, who lost out and were forced to host the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card round. The Vikings knocked off New Orleans in overtime, sending the Saints home very unhappy as a result.

This game again has monstrous postseason implications and a big revenge factor for the Saints. If we get a contest that is even half as entertaining as the one the Saints and 49ers played last year football fans will be in for a treat.
