NFC playoffs

After winning 13 games and being stuck with a Wild Card weekend date, the Saints are the NFC’s top seed. New Orleans is likely looking at its final shot to win a second title with Drew Brees at the helm, and gets a road through the Superdome for its path.

Meanwhile, the Eagles and Packers repeat as division champs, while the Seahawks best the 49ers. Tom Brady has the Buccaneers in the playoffs as the top NFC wild card, while Dallas and San Francisco slot in behind them.

1. New Orleans Saints (13-3)
2. Philadelphia Eagles (12-4)
3. Seattle Seahawks (11-5)
4. Green Bay Packers (11-5)
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5)
6. San Francisco 49ers (11-5)
7. Minnesota Vikings (10-6)

NFC Wild Card round

54. Final/OT. 20. 60. 23

30. 36. Final. 21. 42

48. 31. 49. Final. 33

In the best matchup of Wild Card weekend, Brady gets the best of Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. Too much Mike Evans and Chris Godwin for Green Bay’s secondary. In the other contests, the Seahawks best their NFC West rivals, while the Eagles nip the Vikings in Philadelphia.

NFC Divisional round

48. 34. 15. Final. 28

54. Final. 27. 36. 23

In their third tilt of the season, Brees gets Brady in the Superdome for a second time. New Orleans has the better roster and a decided home-field advantage. It’s the difference. In Philadelphia, the Seahawks are the superior team made battle-tested through a brutal division.

NFC Championship Game

15. Final. 22. 36. 30

The Seahawks are terrific, but the Saints have the most well-rounded roster in football. It shows up to expel bad memories of postseason failures past.
