Weeks 9-12

36. 21. 16. Prediction. 16

This will be one of the Bills’ most impressive wins on the season. Though the Seattle Seahawks are the better team, having to travel across country and play a strong defensive-minded team like the Bills feels like a scheduled loss for Pete Carroll’s team. It won’t be a pretty victory for the Bills, no victories are pretty with this team. Victory always tastes sweet, though. Bills, 21-16.

Prediction. 31. 16. 28. 32

If the Bills are going to steal a game on the road in NFC West play, it would have to be against the Arizona Cardinals. Though the offense could be high-octane in the second year of the Kyler Murray/Kliff Kingsbury partnership, Buffalo has the defensive personnel to keep the former Heisman Trophy winner at bay for at least a little while. Bills, 31-28.

23. 13. 31. 16. Prediction

This game is a personal one. It’ll be the return of former Bills offensive coordinator Anthony Lynn to Orchard Park. He’s in his fourth season leading the Los Angeles Chargers, poised to have a better season than the one before. Tyrod Taylor might start in this game, but having to play the Bills on the other side of the country ultimately leads to a Bolts’ defeat. Bills, 31-23.

20. 16. 35. 42. Prediction

This one will not be pretty. The Bills have to travel across the country to face the reigning NFC champion San Francisco 49ers. San Francisco might be the favorite to win the NFC again. Though Levi’s Stadium isn’t a raucous home environment yet, Buffalo will struggle to move the sticks against the defense or keep pace with Jimmy Garoppolo offensively. 49ers, 35-20.
