Weeks 5-8

21. 31. 31. 123. Prediction

Prescott and the offense scored 35 points against the Giants in Jerry World last year. Later, they added another 37 at MetLife Stadium in another win. The Giants will be better than last year. But they still have a roster of inexperienced players trying to adjust to the NFL. Specifically, at defensive back. CeeDee Lamb, Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup will be too much, and Prescott and the Cowboys will drop 30-plus points on the Giants.

17. 32. 30. 123. Prediction

The Cardinals boast a new-look offense. David Johnson was sent to Houston in the trade that brought star receiver DeAndre Hopkins to Arizona. Kenyan Drake seems likely to be back as he negotiates his contract under the transition tag. However, Mike Nolan can make this team one-dimensional once the game starts. Jerry Jones added depth to the line in the draft. He also signed two run stoppers to play the inside with Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe. Nolan will take the run game away and force Kyler Murray to throw. Forcing him into mistakes and dominating the time of possession, Dallas gets another home win.

123. 14. 58. Prediction. 37

It’s pretty simple. The Cowboys are going to be a playoff contender while the Redskins try to make progress during a rebuild. When these two played each other in 2019, the Cowboys won 31-21 on the road and then 47-16 at home. The rushing attack will get a lot of work in this game, as McCarthy tries to keep the clock rolling by pounding the ball on the ground. Moore will have another big day for his unit as the Cowboys take this one rather easily.

54. Prediction. 18. 123. 23

The NFC East is a two-team race, and these two teams are awfully close. The Eagles and Cowboys battled for the title last year as they have done for the past few years, and this year will be no different. Pederson’s roster was depleted with injuries last year. Yet, he still coached them into the playoffs and overtook the Cowboys in the NFC East. This year, with a full complement of players, expect this divisional race to be close. Carson Wentz and Pederson will take a tight game at home against the Cowboys. Splitting the season series, each team will win at home as they did in 2019.
