Weeks 5-8

18. 45. 24. 47. Final

Lock may very well be a franchise-caliber quarterback for Denver, but that does not mean that he should expect to go in to New England and defeat Bill Belichick in his first effort. The Patriots’ offense may not be as dangerous as it once was, but Belichick is still the best defensive coach in football history.

13. 59. 23. 45. Final

The Broncos defense loves taking advantage of young offenses and specifically, young offensive lines. Bradley Chubb and Von Miller will wreak havoc on the Miami offensive line which will feature a rookie left tackle in Austin Jackson. That is rarely good news for the quarterback of the opposing team, and Miami stands no chance from the get go.

24. 124. 27. 45. Final/OT

There is an old saying about blind squirrels and nuts. The Chiefs’ offense has an off day and the defense follows suit, as the defending champs get a wakeup call against their division foes. This marks the first time that Denver has beaten Kansas City since September 2015 when they were led by future Hall of Fame quarterback, Peyton Manning. A bad game for the champs, and the Broncos are happy to take advantage.
