Final record: 9-7, Wild Card

Denver has a challenging schedule, a young quarterback and a secondary that has to gel and prove itself. Despite that, they are a better team than they were a year ago and its going to show when the season ends. In 2020, scoring a 3-3 record in a suddenly very competitive AFC West is enough to get them back in to the playoffs.

A huge win against the reigning champs becomes a difference-maker at the end.

Denver is not ready to compete with the elite teams of the NFL on a consistent basis, but it has talented skill players, a strong defense and one of the best pass-rush units in the NFL. Those three factors, combined with a quarterback to believe in, will manifest the Broncos a better team.

Denver may be building something special again, and it’s now a race against time. Can the offense get it together fast enough before they start losing defensive pieces and/or aging the defense out of contention?

Time will tell, but 2020 could be a huge leap for the Broncos.
