Weeks 13-17

30. Final. 24. 28. 29

The Raiders are a team who often overestimates their abilities and as a result, lays an egg against a team who they are better than. This game is one of those instances. While less talented, the Jets are not as hopeless as one might suspect, and they can take advantage of an unprepared, overly confident team, like the Raiders, when the opportunity arises.

21. 46. 27. 28. Final

Las Vegas seems to win games it should not win at least a couple of times each season. This is one such game. Their defense is overmatched by a bevy of Colt weapons, and the offense should be overpowered by a dangerous defensive front from Indianapolis. Despite all of the paper evidence pointing to the opposite result, the Raiders pull it out.

21. 13. 23. 28. Final

The Chargers have an excellent defense but the offense is going to be under the direction of a rookie quarterback (or Tyrod Taylor). Either way, it is unlikely to produce consistent results for Los Angeles in 2020. As a result, a good performance by a team like Las Vegas will get the job done, and in this one they’re able to do just enough to outpace L.A. on an off day.

27. 59. 30. 28. Final/OT

The Raiders survive a scare in this one as the offense puts up points in one of its easier matchups of the season. Miami does not have the team speed to match up with the receivers from Las Vegas, and Carr is a good enough quarterback to get the job done when there is no pressure in his face.

21. 28. 27. 45. Final

One of Carr’s biggest struggles as a quarterback is his ability to withstand constant pressure. One of Denver’s greatest strengths is their ability to consistently rush the passer. In this one, it does not matter how fast the Raiders’ weapons are because Carr does not have time to get the ball down the field.
