New York Giants 2020 schedule predictions: Picking every game
Final record: 6-10
Joe Judge sounds like he is ready to turn this franchise around. Discipline, evaluating talent, and teaching these young players how to win will be of the utmost importance in 2020.
Fans need to understand this is a work in progress. Another losing season does not sound appetizing, but it is likely going to happen.
In this current stage in the roster overhaul, 6-10 with a few road wins and playing well within the division is a plus.
Daniel Jones still must prove he is the long-term starter, but after a strong rookie season, he seems likely to do so in 2020. Barkley will be back and recovered from the injury that hampered him last year.
The offensive line getting help in the form of tackle Andrew Thomas will probably be the biggest aid to Jones and the offense. Last year, Jones and Manning were often under pressure, which leads to turnovers and mistakes.
Eliminating as many self-inflicted mistakes as possible will make the Giants look like a much sounder team in 2020. Last year, they looked 4-12. This season, Judge needs to change the culture.
2020 will be imperative to the outlook of the Giants. Having another season like last year would be a negative sign. However, going 6-10, or possibly a win better, would signify positives.
