Weeks 9-12

Final. 21. 58. 23. 50

This past season, Washington got a big afternoon from their special teams and in particular kick returner Steven Sims in a 19-16 win over the visiting Lions in Week 12. Now the club heads to the Motor City for the first time since 2016 and will find things a bit tougher against a Detroit squad looking to make amends for a horrible 2019.

Final. 18. 56. 20. 58

It’s a meeting between the top two picks in the 2020 NFL Draft as Bengals’ quarterback Joe Burrow will be looking to elude Redskins’ defensive end Chase Young, who lives up to his name when it comes to tracking down opposing signal-callers. However, Washington’s ground attack paves the way for a close home victory.

123. Final. 20. 58. 31

In 2019, the Redskins closed the season with a humbling 47-16 loss at Dallas. In fact, the club hasn’t beaten this longtime NFC East rival on the road since 2015. Washington’s reshuffled secondary will have its hands full with the Cowboys’ wide receiving trio of Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and 2020 first-round pick CeeDee Lamb on Thanksgiving.

58. 29. 55. Final. 20

The ‘Skins make their first appearance at Heinz Field since 2012 and the bottom line is that the team hasn’t defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers since 1991, which ironically was the franchise’s last Super Bowl appearance (and win). Washington’s defense is going to try and stifle Ben Roethlisberger, which will be easier said than done.
