Weeks 13-16

9. 58. 34. 42. Final

A year ago on a rainy Sunday afternoon at FedEx Field (Week 7), the Redskins were humbled by the eventual Super Bowl-bound 49ers, 9-0. Now the team heads to San Francisco for the first time since 2014. It figures to be a long afternoon for Ron Rivera’s club, especially since blocking Nick Bosa and company is an extremely tall task.

Final. 27. 36. 13. 58

The Redskins host Pete Carroll’s team for the first time since 2014. Dating back to 2008 and including the team’s playoff clash at FedEx Field in 2012, the road team has won the last five meetings in this series. And that won’t change this year as resilient quarterback Russell Wilson and the Seahawks have a little too much firepower.

58. Final. 7. 87. 10

Current Redskins’ head coach Ron Rivera led the Panthers for eight-plus seasons and took that franchise to the playoffs four times, including a Super Bowl in 2015. But he was also cut loose a year ago after a Week 13 home loss to Washington. A defensive battle goes the way of the home team and revenge winds up tasting very good.

54. Final. 17. 58. 27

The Redskins have dropped three straight games in the City of Brotherly Love and allowed 34, 28 and 32 points, respectively, in those setbacks. Washington’s defense will have few answers for Carson Wentz, who threw for 313 yards and three scores in last year’s opener at Philadelphia. Another rough outing for the ‘Skins.
