4. WR D.J. Chark

There may not have been a bigger surprise for the Jaguars in 2019 than the emergence of wide receiver D.J. Chark. After playing a bit role in his rookie year, Chark exploded last season with 73 catches for 1,008 yards and eight touchdowns.

Chark formed a tremendous connection with Gardner Minshew that powered the Jaguars’ offense. After emerging as the team’s go-to-guy, Chark made his first Pro Bowl appearance in January.

The surprise factor is definitely gone with Chark now, who will be the focus of opposing team’s gameplans. Jacksonville drafted Laviska Shenault in the second round to pair with Chark, but he is going to see more double teams than he did in all of 2019.

Chark needs to find a way to get open against those double teams in order to give Minshew a clear window to get rid of the football. If teams are able to take Chark out of the game that will be a big problem for Jacksonville.
