1. QB Gardner Minshew

The NFL is a passing league and how your quarterback performs has a large role in the fate of any team. For the Jacksonville Jaguars, they need to hope that Minshew Mania continues in 2020.

Gardner Minshew entered 2019 as the Jaguars’ backup quarterback but was quickly thrust into the starting role when Nick Foles broke his collarbone in Week 1. Jaguars’ fans quickly fell in love with Minshew’s stylish mustache and spunky play as he provided a spark to the Jacksonville offense.

Foles was ineffective upon his return from injury, giving the job back to Minshew, who finished his rookie season with 3,271 passing yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions. Jacksonville traded Foles to the Bears in the offseason, handing the offense to Minshew again to see if they found a diamond in the rough.

This season provides a massive opportunity for Minshew to put up a huge performance and showcase why he can be the Jaguars’ franchise quarterback. If Minshew struggles, the Jaguars will have the rough year the experts believe they are capable of and send Jacksonville off in pursuit of Trevor Lawrence in next April’s draft.
