WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch dropped a bombshell announcement, revealing she is pregnant.

It’s been a wild 24 hours in WWE, following last night’s Money In The Bank event. Rumors have been circulating all day Monday that current Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch was expected to make a major announcement this week.

And that announcement came in the form of a blockbuster reveal that “The Man” is pregnant! She’s been known for making headlines through the last few years, from her path to the Raw Women’s Championship, to headlining the first-ever women’s main event match at WrestleMania. Now she is expecting her own “mini-Messiah,” as she and off-screen boyfriend Seth Rollins are facing a new challenge — parenthood.

Lynch made the announcement during Monday’s live WWE Raw from the Performance Center in Orlando. Asuka, who won the women’s half of the Money In The Bank ladder match, had no clue what was about to happen. Lynch informed her that she knew she was going away for awhile, so she asked the decision-makers to raise the stakes of the ladder match.

So when Asuka retrieved the briefcase, it wasn’t for an opportunity at the championship like it usually is, this time it was actually FOR the WWE Raw Women’s Championship. Unbeknownst to Asuka, her victory last night actually declared her the new champion. The two, who have been bitter rivals over the last year, hugged in celebration. Lynch then made the official announcement that she will be a mother.

The announcement puts an end to a monumental title reign for Lynch, who was in the midst of a historic run with the title. The news is obviously incredible for her, as she embarks on a new chapter in life. But you can bet when the time is right, “The Man” will come calling for the title she never lost.
