4. CB Bryce Callahan

The Broncos lost Chris Harris to the divisional rival Chargers in free agency, apparently with little effort to bring him back after making a trade for A.J. Bouye. Harris moved outside primarily last year, but before that he was arguably the best slot corner in the NFL.

After a couple good seasons under him  when he was defensive coordinator in Chicago, Callahan followed head coach Vic Fangio to Denver in free agency last offseason. But a foot issue that landed him on IR at the end of 2018 with the Bears was re-injured during OTAs last year, and Callahan wound up missing the entire 2019 season.

Callahan might be ready for training camp, whatever that winds up looking like this year, but the fact his foot is still considered a thing is a concern. The Broncos have a big void to fill with Harris gone. They’ll need Callahan to be healthy, and playing near the level he did in 2017 and 2018 for the Bears.
