812. . WR. Buckeyes . Emeka Egbuka. 8. player

  • High School: Steilacoom (Steilacoom, WA)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 8, No. 1 WR

The top receiver in the 2021 class is Emeka Egbuka. He’s earned his ranking from his tremendous production and natural talent that has separated himself from the rest of the pack.

In 2018, Egbuka posted 1,492 receiving yards and 23 receiving touchdowns. This past year he came back and topped that with 1,607 yards and 25 receiving touchdowns. With 4.4 speed and good height, Egbuka is an elite talent.

The Ohio State Buckeyes already have five-star quarterback, running back and offensive line commits in their 2021 class on the offensive side of the ball. Why not add a star receiver to throw in the mix? If reports are any indication, they could be the favorites.

Prediction: Ohio State

. CB. Bulldogs . Tony Grimes. 7. player. 814

  • High School: Princess Anne (Virginia Beach, VA)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 7, No. 1 CB

The top cornerback in the 2021 class is Virginia’s, Tony Grimes. With a lengthy frame and long arms, Grimes possesses the ideal frame that scouts look for in defensive backs to match up with the bigger receivers in college football.

He’s a fluid athlete with great ball skills that will step in right away and match up against elite talent on the other side of the football. He’s going to be dynamite in coverage in the right system.

The consensus right now seems to be that Grimes will end up with Georgia. With the insane amount of talented receivers in the SEC, getting a shutdown corner would be a major win for the Bulldogs.

Prediction: Georgia
