814. . OT. Bulldogs . Amarius Mims. 6. player

  • High School: Bleckley County (Cochran, GA)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 6, No. 2 OT

If any five-star recruit in the 2021 class comes close to matching Nolan Rucci’s height, it’s Amarius Mims. The 6-foot-7 offensive tackle from Georgia will head into his college football career already possessing the ideal frame.

That means it’s all about refining the technique and continuing to become the best offensive tackle that he can be on Saturday’s. Mims bends well and can get down the field without any trouble for someone his size. He also has a good first punch which will get him on the field sooner than most.

The Bulldogs are once again likely to land some great five-star recruits. Mims choosing to stay in Georgia for his college football career shouldn’t come as much as a surprise if and when it happens.

Prediction: Georgia

. DUAL. Sooners . Caleb Williams. 5. player. 815

  • High School: Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 5, No. 1 DUAL QB

Caleb Williams has a certain intangible that can’t be taught in quarterbacks. He has the ability to think on the fly and read and react in situations where others may not be able to.

With dangerous mobility and an incredible arm to back it up, Williams is considered the top DUAL quarterback. We’ve seen the trend in football continue toward quarterbacks that are able to make something out of nothing.

Williams is exactly in that mold. He hasn’t made a decision yet, but everyone seems to think he’s Oklahoma bound. With the success Lincoln Riley has had with Baker Mayfield, Kyler Murray and Jalen Hurts, Williams seems like a perfect fit with his intellect and athleticism.

Prediction: Oklahoma
