3. Taylor Gabriel

The receiving corps of the Redskins could benefit tremendously by adding wide receiver Taylor Gabriel. Other than Terry McLaurin, the Redskins are pretty thin at receiving options. The young core needs one guy who can elevate them. And that someone is Gabriel.

Gabriel can stretch the field as well as serve as a red zone threat. His speed and leaping ability is very underrated at his position. While a concussion kept him out of action in 2019, when he saw time he did prove he was a productive.

In 2019, Gabriel scored three touchdowns in one quarter of play against Washington on primetime television with Mitchell Trubisky as his passer. The Redskins will need Gabriel to be healthy and repeat what he was in 2018, and then some. That season, he racked up 67 catches for 668 receiving yards.

While McLaurin is coming off a decent rookie season, he could use the help. Whether Gabriel is the No. 1 or No. 2 option, his presence will take pressure off of McLaurin. This receiving duo has the potential to pose a solid threat.

If the running game is effective in 2020, look out. While this offense won’t keep defense on their heels  or up a night proceeding gameday, they can be competitive. If this offensive unit catches chemistry early, they can be one of those surprise teams.
