1. Ben Roethlisberger

Losing a year due to an elbow injury seems to have caused fans around the NFL to forget just how good Roethlisberger can be. Assuming he comes back healthy, he should have another big year for the Steelers in 2020.

Big Ben threw for over 5,000 yards as recently as the 2018 campaign. There’s no reason to believe he can’t replicate that feat this season. If that happens, he’ll easily profile as one of the top 10 starters in the league.

The key for Roethsliberger will be to limit the number of hits he takes. He’s great at using his big body to absorb hits and extend plays, but he needs to pick his spots. That’s a big issue for Mike Tomlin and his coaching staff to work out once the regular season gets underway.

Roethlisberger has lulled fans to sleep by playing football at a high level, in the same fashion, for over a decade. Fans can’t sleep on just how effective he still is once he’s healthy. No one should be shocked if Roethlisberger gets the Steelers prepared for another deep playoff run in 2020. Sleep on the Steelers and Big Ben at your own risk.
