3. Damon “Snacks” Harrison

How can this Bears defense notch their game up to the next level? They can sign a specialized run stopper like Damon Harrison.

When the Bears played the Raiders in London last season, the Raiders jumped on an early lead. The Raiders ultimately won that Week 5 match up 24-21, and the reason why is because head coach Jon Gruden consistently called running plays up the middle. They did so to wear down the Bears linebackers and it worked.

If the Bears had Harrison, things probably wouldn’t have gone down that way. Harrison is the type of player who wreaks havoc in the backfield with his finesse moves that enable him to bypass the trenches to pick up tackles for losses.

Adding Harrison to an already stacked defense can truly make this one of the greatest defenses of all-time. Harrison forced his way out of Detroit and it was probably for an opportunity like this. If this opportunity was offered to Harrison, he would possibly sign below his average asking price for an opportunity to win and play with a loaded defense.

His addition would make this defense too dominant for the Bears to finish with another .500 record.
