Las Vegas Raiders: 5 free agents to sign in order to win in 2020

Las Vegas Raiders sign Demaryius Thomas
The Raiders do have a promising core of receivers. They have tight end Darren Waller, Tyrell Williams as the number one option at receiver and drafted the speedy rookie Henry Ruggs III, who will more than likely play opposite of Williams. Signing Demaryius Thomas would give the receiving core a veteran they could insert in packages that include three or four receiver sets.
Thomas has the ability to make plays on inside routes and serves as a reliable target on third-down situations. Thomas would provide the Raiders with a solid alternative target on those crucial downs.
At age 32, this situation is good for Thomas. He’s no longer a viable first option and there’s no telling if he could be an effective every-down No. 2 wide receiver. As an alternative target with limited packages, he could find his niche in this offense. The Raiders have a decent offense to compete in the AFC West. While they are far from being an elite offense, their current roster stands as an above-average offense.
If this offense can make a leap in 2020, they are capable of being an offensive right outside the top 10. They would need another piece in addition to Thomas, but signing Thomas would help this offense trend upwards.
