When people say Christian McCaffrey is the best running back in the game, they must mean it in two ways. Those two was are, the best running back in all of football and the best running back in Madden 20.

If you’re a fan of running the football in Madden 20, your go-to guy has to be McCaffrey. Whether you’re building an ultimate team from scratch or starting up a franchise mode, McCaffrey is a player you need to build your team around.

Playing with McCaffrey has its upside. He is a great running back, but he also can catch the ball and run impressive routes in Madden 20.

McCaffrey has 92 OVR Speed, 93 OVR Acceleration, and 97 OVR Awareness. All of that combined makes him almost unstoppable on the field. If you add his 82 OVR Catching, 89 OVR Jumping, 88 OVR Punt/Kick Returns, he is a dual-threat player.

If McCaffrey is on your team, he can do it all. He is good enough to play all three downs, along with return kicks and punts. I wouldn’t use him in the passing game every play, but if you have a semi-quick quarterback who can throw on the run, McCaffrey has a nice 82 OVR Short-Route Running.

McCaffrey is arguably the most important player in Madden, as you can take over any game with his skill. As long as there’s a semi-decent offensive line with a semi-decent quarterback, you’ll have a lot of fun with McCaffrey on your team.
