No. 8 – Moussa Cisse – PF – 6-foot-10, 220 pounds – Memphis, TN

Moussa Cisse has tremendous size and athleticism and is a still-raw basketball talent who projects as an excellent interior defender and rebounder with a great motor and exceptional shot-blocking instincts.. He would benefit greatly from excellent interior coaching at the collegiate level in order to further develop a post presence and scoring around the rim to complement his rebounding and defense.

On May 1, Cisse revealed his final six teams to be Kentucky, LSU, Florida St., Georgia, Memphis, and Georgetown. Cisse went on an official visit to Florida St. and unofficial visits to Memphis and Kentucky. On May 27, Cisse announced he would reclassify to the 2020 class with the hopes of getting to the NBA as quickly as possible. Look for Penny Hardaway and Memphis to get involved and bring Cisse aboard.

PREDICTION: Memphis Tigers

No. 7 – AJ Griffin – SF – 6-foot-7, 200 pounds – White Plains, NY

One of the earliest commitments in the entire 2021 class, the son of former Seton Hall and NBA player Adrian Griffin committed to Duke in November 2019. Griffin remains the only 2021 5-Star to have announced his commitment. The wing out of Archbishop Stepinac had interest from among Kentucky, Villanova, and Illinois at the time of his commitment, with the only non-Duke visit he made being to Villanova.

Griffin is known as an elite-level athlete with tremendous physical tools and is a likely future lottery pick. At Duke, he will benefit from working with Coach K and a staff known in recent years for developing more NBA-ready talent than any other program in the country. Griffin should step right in next year and become an immediate contributor for the Blue Devils.

PREDICTION: Committed to Duke Blue Devils
