1. The Heat are a matchup nightmare for other title contenders

When you think of the Bucks, you think of Giannis Antetokounmpo and the abundance of shooting around him. The Toronto Raptors have a well-rounded roster and their ability to space the floor. The Celtics feature young talent in Jaylen Brown, Gordon Hayward, Jason Tatum and Kemba Walker. The Clippers have depth and defense led by Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. The Lakers tower over everybody with their size and length.

Miami has the personnel to counter any of these team’s greatest strengths. Butler, Crowder and Iguodala are the main wing defenders, meaning they’ll be guarding opposing deadly shooters plus George, James, Leonard and Tatum. Adebayo, Haslem, Leonard and Olynyk will be assigned to Anthony Davis and Giannis. The young guys have proven they can score the ball themselves and aren’t afraid of the big moment.

This Miami Heat squad is just the team fully capable of ruining the party of a potential Bucks-Lakers or Bucks-Clippers matchup in late September.
