Eagles veteran DeSean Jackson looks like his old self in latest workout clip

If anyone out there has doubts as to whether or not DeSean Jackson is motivated headed into the 2020 season… are you serious? The veteran Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver is entering his 13th campaign in the league, hoping to remind defenders everywhere of how dangerous he can be.

Last year was a bit of a bummer for him and Philly, as a core muscle injury limited him to just three games. This offseason, though, Jackson has been working around the clock to try and get himself ready for this upcoming fall. His latest workout clip will surely fire up Eagles fans everywhere.

That’s vintage Jackson, no doubt. In that video above, the 5-10, 175-pounder showcased his tremendous football and outstanding speed that has driven opposing defensive coordinators mad for more than a decade.

How big of a role will Desean Jackson have with the Eagles this season?

Seeing Jackson go down with his season-ending injury hurt Eagles fans. It was his first year back in the City of Brotherly Love after spending three campaigns with the Redskins, followed by two with the Buccaneers. He was motivated to be a reliable target for Carson Wentz, but things just didn’t pan out.

Regardless, Jackson is clearly ready to rock once things get going this upcoming campaign. If he can stay healthy, he can no question be a big-time target for this offense.

For his career, Jackson has 598 receptions for 10,420 yards and 55 touchdowns. Now 33 years old, he knows his time in the NFL is nearing its end. Still, Jackson will look to keep grinding and end things the right way with Philly.
