November is the crucial stretch on the Texas football schedule.

Nov. 7 – at Kansas Jayhawks

Les Miles has a tough task that he’s taken on in trying to build the Kansas Jayhawks. Kansas consistently has been one of the worst programs in the country. It doesn’t seem likely that UT loses here. Prediction: Texas wins 51-17.

Nov. 14 – vs. TCU Horned Frogs

When UT and TCU met in 2019, the Horned Frogs came out on top of the Longhorns. Ehlinger and the Longhorns should be able to repay TCU the favor this season, especially coming off of an easy win against Kansas, a game in which UT should able to rest its starters as the second half rolls around. TCU will be a tougher foe than Kansas, and UT can’t overlook the Horned Frogs but expect the Longhorns to win. Prediction: Texas wins 31-23.

Nov. 21 – vs. Iowa State Cyclones

In what will be UT’s final home game of the season, the Longhorns will host the Iowa State Cyclones. Texas should be able to come out on top of this contest, beating an outmatched foe by multiple touchdowns. Prediction: Texas wins 35-17.

Nov. 27 – at Oklahoma State Cowboys

The Oklahoma State Cowboys consistently have one of the top offenses in the country and generally find their success by scoring points at will. With one of the best running backs in the country in Chuba Hubbard, Oklahoma State should be able to present a threat to just about anyone it faces. Still, Texas should be able to win here. Prediction: Texas wins 48-45.

Big 12 Championship Game – vs. Oklahoma

With how the season should play out, the Longhorns and the Sooners should find themselves meeting up again in the Big 12 championship game in a rematch of the Red River Rivalry. The Longhorns will be looking for revenge, but given how consistently successful Oklahoma has been against Texas in recent years, it is unlikely that UT comes out on top of this contest. Prediction: Oklahoma wins 41-37.
