Jacksonville Jaguars

Early favorites for the No. 1 pick, the rebuilding Jags could have their pick of any quarterback in the class if their 2020 season goes as badly as many anticipate for a team gutted of much of the talent that propelled them to the AFC Championship game in the 2017 season.

Lawrence has long been viewed as the presumptive first overall pick but, based off their 2019 tape, the gap between him and Fields and Lance is not a wide one.

With another strong season in his sophomore year Lance could make up the ground on Lawrence and be firmly in contention to come off the board first in Cleveland.

There is no question any of the top trio would be an upgrade on Gardner Minshew for the Jaguars. Lance may have played at a lower level of competition in college, but the remarkable composure he has demonstrated for North Dakota State suggests he would do a better job behind a shaky Jaguars offensive line than Minshew.

His running threat would give the Jaguars an added dimension on offense. While much would depend on the head coaching hire with Doug Marrone likely out the door with another poor season, Lance and an offense certainly not lacking in talent at the skill positions could spark a speedy turnaround in Jacksonville.
