Minnesota Vikings: WR Odell Beckham Jr (2014 1st Round)

This pick falls in that stretch of nine straight Pro Bowlers after the Browns whiffed on Gilbert. Minnesota landed outside linebacker Anthony Barr at nine, who has been a solid starter for them ever since. One of the better alternatives was OBJ, who has emerged as one of the most dynamic receivers in football.

New England Patriots: S Troy Polamalu (2003 1st Round)

Legendary coach Bill Belichick has always valued having great safeties, so missing out on Polamalu in 2003 has to sting the Patriots. Instead of taking Polamalu 13th overall, New England went with defensive end Ty Warren.

It’s hard to bash a guy who played in the organization for seven years but Warren was never close to delivering the kind of impact Polamalu did for the Steelers.

New Orleans Saints: LB Terrell Suggs (2003 1st Round)

2003 wasn’t a good draft for the Saints either, who missed out on a chance to add Suggs to their defense. Owners of the sixth overall pick, New Orleans opted to draft Jonathan Sullivan, a defensive tackle out of Georgia. Sullivan made a minimal impact in three years with the Saints and was out of football by 2006 while Suggs is still active.
