1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s getting hard to remember the last time the Buccaneers had a good rushing attack, and last year the tandem of Ronald Jones and Peyton Barber weren’t very good. Third-round pick Ke’Shawn Vaughn is stepping for the departed Barber, and it should be noted Jones had over 1,000 total yards last year. But at the same time, Jones’ struggles in pass protection make him a poor fit with Tom Brady.

At his peak with the Steelers, Bell was arguably the best dual threat back in the league and he was more than capable in pass protection. The Buccaneers offensive line was better than it looked at times in 2019, and first-round pick Tristan Wirfs was a notable addition.

The Buccaneers are so far up against the salary cap ($4.873 million) that they can’t trade for Bell without trading a player to the Jets. Tight ends O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate will be options to be moved until further notice, and full give-up on Jones by trading him seems possible.

Tampa Bay is in win-now mode after signing Brady. A trade for Bell would fortify an area that could still be a weakness into the season, and the Buccaneers stand a a suitor for just about anyone who could address an area of need.
