10 bold predictions for the 2020 NFL season

Kansas City Chiefs repeat as Super Bowl Champions

It is never easy to win the Super Bowl, let alone win it in back-to-back years. In fact, the last time a team was able to repeat as a Super Bowl champion was all the way back in 2004 and 2005, when the New England Patriots beat the Carolina Panthers and Philadelphia Eagles.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the best in the business, and he has all of his weapons back in 2020 and then some, as the team drafted LSU star running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. On defense, the Chiefs have talent on all three levels, including Tyrann Mathieu, the best safety in the game.

Kansas City has dominated the AFC West in recent years, and they should once again be able to win the division, and possibly lock in the No. 1 overall seed in the AFC. If they can do that, they will certainly be the team to beat in the conference, and based on their roster, they have more talent than all of the other 31 teams.

The Chiefs did a great job of keeping the roster in tact this offseason, which spells trouble for the rest of the league. They proved last year they have the resiliency to win, even down in the second half of the Super Bowl, and they could be the first team in over 15 years to go back-to-back.
