10 bold predictions for the 2020 NFL season

Kyler Murray wins NFL Most Valuable Player award

The Arizona Cardinals made one of the earliest splashes of the 2020 NFL offseason, when they swung a deal with the Houston Texans for star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins. The move teams Hopkins with future Hall of Famer Larry Fitzgerald, as well as Christian Kirk, giving the Cardinals a three-headed monster at wideout.

While fans are certain to love what Hopkins brings to the table, it is quarterback Kyler Murray who is going to benefit most from the addition of the star. Murray, the 2019 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, showed last season he has what it takes to succeed at the NFL level, and now he has an incredible trio to throw to.

Murray winning the Rookie of the Year was a great start to his career, but I believe he takes another giant step forward in 2020. The Cardinals are going to be much better than the five-win team they were last year, and with Kliff Kingsbury calling the shots on offense, this is going to be an explosive unit.

Quarterbacks usually win the Most Valuable Player award, and the position group has won the honor in seven straight seasons entering 2020. For Murray, he can do it all with his arm, and his feet, so expect him to shock the football landscape and win the MVP this season.
