Chiefs receiver Mecole Hardman is ready to help Kansas City repeat as Super Bowl champs

After a strong rookie campaign with the reigning Super Bowl champions, Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman is ready for even bigger things in his second year with the team. The former Georgia Bulldogs standout has been working around the clock this offseason.

Hardman is clearly focused on having a bigger role in the Kansas City offense for 2021, which will surely make the team even more dangerous. And if his latest Instagram post tells us anything, it’s that he’s ready to do whatever it takes to help the Chiefs bring home another Lombardi Trophy.

Former Georgia Bulldog Mecole Hardman will have a big role in the Chiefs offense this fall

Both Chiefs and Georgia fans will absolutely love seeing that Instagram post. In his head-turning rookie campaign, the 5-10, 187-pounder posted 26 receptions for 538 yards and six touchdowns. Averaging more than 20 yards per catch is no easy feat. Credit Hardman’s speed for that, plus the rocket for an arm Patrick Mahomes has on his body.

Andy Reid trusted Hardman is key situations last year, which no question only boosted the youngster’s confidence. With all the hard work he’s putting in this offseason, there’s no denying big things are expected of the former Bulldog in the coming months. Don’t forget how dangerous he is on special teams too.

With the Chiefs looking to repeat as champions, the offense will be expected to once again put up monster numbers. If Hardman can see his productivity increase and build even more chemistry with Mahomes throughout the campaign, it will be even tougher for teams to try and slow the Chiefs down.
