9. Cleveland Browns

Former Vikings’ offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski is the new head coach. That’s good news for Baker Mayfield, who finished 2019 with more turnovers than touchdown passes. Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr. are now joined by tight end Austin Hooper. And Mayfield and running back Nick Chubb will benefit from a bolstered front.

8. Seattle Seahawks

Reliable quarterback Russell Wilson has not missed a game in eight NFL seasons. Over the past three years, he thrown for 100 scores and just 23 interceptions. Chris Carson and Rashaad Penny lead a potent running game. There’s an exciting receiving duo in D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett and veteran tight end Greg Olsen joins the team.

7. San Francisco 49ers

John Lynch felt good enough about this unit to let wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders test free agency (Saints) and dealt running back Matt Breida to Miami. Meanwhile, the club’s big offseason pickup was left tackle Trent Williams via trade with the Redskins. It’s a potent attack, but can quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo cut back on the turnovers?

6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Bruce Arians’ team is loaded with offensive weapons and now has veteran quarterback Tom Brady at his disposal. Wide receivers Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are enhanced with the tight end trio of newcomer Rob Gronkowski, O.J. Howard and Cameron Brate. Ronald Jones is the team’s top rusher from 2019 and the line has been bolstered.

5. Atlanta Falcons

Quarterback Matt Ryan is slowly climbing up the goal of time passing charts but last season the Atlanta running game was a no show. Can former Rams’ Pro Bowler Todd Gurley recapture his standout form? Wideouts Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley along with promising new tight and Hayden Hurst give Dan Quinn’s team a lot of firepower.

4. Dallas Cowboys

With quarterback Dak Prescott under contract, new head coach Mike McCarthy has to be breathing a sigh of relief. The team is loaded on offense with running back Ezekiel Elliott and a talented trio wide receivers as good as any in Amari Cooper, explosive Michael Gallup and rocky CeeDee Lamb. Now if left tackle Tyron Smith can stay healthy…
