These 5 NFL teams are going to have the No. 1 overall pick soon

What a great time it is to be bad if you’re the Jacksonville Jaguars. Owner Shahid Khan tried to pull a fast one on us and have London’s Finest play not one, but two games overseas this season. He knows his team is in rebuilding mode. As much as Gardner Minshew‘s mustache, jean shorts, bandana and just general awesomeness reminds us of Ken Stabler, he’s not Trevor Lawrence.
Minshew may feel exceptionally Duval, but he’s not the golden ray of sunshine Lawrence is or the unbelievable dual-threat playmaker Justin Fields is. Fate would have it the big cat 1995 expansion brothers are getting new quarterbacks to match in the 2021 NFL Draft. It’s gonna be more small market awesome than when the Indiana Pacers play the Portland Trail Blazers on the hardwood.
Let’s be real. We love the Jaguars’ quirkiness. They do things different down in North Florida. Khan is an incredible owner and one who is never afraid to think outside of the box. He is the epitome of the American dream, but understands having a franchise in one of the four smallest markets in the United States is a huge disadvantage for his team and his franchise’s brand.
This is why the Jaguars play so many games in London. They need that market share they just can’t get in North Florida. The only way the Jaguars get to say in North Florida for another decade is if they draft undeniable greatness with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Lawrence can be John Elway and Fields can be Steve Young. That’s what’s at stake here for the Jaguars.
