New York Giants: DT Dalvin Tomlinson

The New York Giants’ defense has been nothing short of the disaster the past three seasons. But three-year defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson has stood out, at least in terms of his ability to shut down the run. A second-round pick from the University of Alabama in 2017, he’s started every game for the team since his arrival.

New York Jets: CB Brian Poole

After three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons, defensive back Brian Poole joined the New York Jets and comes off a solid year. He made a career-best 10 starts, made 58 tackles, totaled one interception and five passes defensed. He proved to be a very good fit in coordinator Gregg Williams’ scheme and could be in for a banner 2020 campaign.

Philadelphia Eagles: OLB Nathan Gerry

Doug Pederson’s team has been somewhat of a revolving door at the linebacker positions since he took over the team in 2016. Meanwhile, 2017 fifth-round pick Nathan Gerry enters its fourth year with the club. He made a career-best 12 starts and finished third on the club with 72 tackles and added six stops on the kick coverage units.
