3 players who won’t be on the Las Vegas Raiders roster after 2020 season

Yes, Derek Carr’s time with the Raiders is reaching its end by the start of the 2021 calendar year. Once a new head coach is hired, they prefer to have their own quarterback instead of the one they inherit. Gruden stuck with Carr (mostly due to his bloated contract), and the results have been mixed.
Carr was able to throw for over 4,000 yards in each of his two seasons under Gruden. That’s good. But, Carr hasn’t recorded more than 21 touchdowns in each campaign.
That’s bad.
If Gruden says enough is enough and it’s time for a change, the team can save nearly $20 million in cap space by outright releasing the former second-round pick! Plus, Las Vegas has the chance to secure one of the premier rookie signal callers in either Justin Fields or Trey Lance in the upcoming NFL Draft. Marketing a new quarterback in Vegas? That’s a dream scenario for the Raiders.
