3. David Price, lefthanded starter, Los Angeles Dodgers

  • 2011 – Rated No. 15 by CBS fantasy baseball with 293 points
    • Starting pitcher for Tampa Bay Rays

Comments -Price was a dominant starter from the beginning to the middle of last decade.  He struggled with injuries while playing for Boston the last four years, but the Dodgers believe he could be their No. 3  starter behind Kershaw and Walker Buehler .

4. Daniel Hudson,  righthanded reliever, Washington Nationals

Comments – Hudson was a key member of a Nationals’ relief core that shut opponents down and earned them the MLB Championship in 2019.  He expects the intensity level to be higher this year, because it’s a shorter season of 60 games.

5. Michael Pineda, righthanded starter, Minnesota Twins

Comments – Pineda is an imposing force  on the mound.  He’s 6-feet, 7″ inches tall and weighs 280 pounds.  “Big MIke” looks like the No. 4 starting pitcher in a rotation that features José Berríos, Jake Odorizzi and Homer Bailey.
