Pick Analysis. AL. Central. Chicago White Sox. 128. Scouting Report. 3. player

One team that’s on the verge of moving from rebuilding to contending is the Chicago White Sox. Chicago is almost similar to the way San Diego is built. The White Sox look pretty well-equipped to send some shockwaves across the league.

They’re backed with Yoan Moncada, Tim Anderson, Lucas Giolito, and Eloy Jimenez. They even made some impactful offseason signings over the winter. The White Sox managed to sign a core of veteran players, including catcher Yasmani Grandal and pitcher Dallas Keuchel. They rounded out the offseason with the additions of Nomar Mazara, Edwin Encarnacion, Gio Gonzalez, and Steve Cishek.

To further complement their young core and veteran presence, Chicago has a talented group of rookies ready to contribute. Luis Robert, Michael Kopech, and Nick Madrigal will be the ones to watch. Kopech will be returning from Tommy John surgery, who’ll join a rotation with Giolito and Keuchel.

The White Sox have created a formula for a breakthrough season. All they can do is keep moving forward to reach that contender status. It won’t be long before postseason baseball makes a return to the South Side. A trip to October baseball would be the first time since 2008 for Chicago.
