Blackhawks not changing their name despite actions of NFL’s Redskins and MLB’s Indians.

It’s been a long few weeks when it pertains to multiple teams over multiple sports leagues as the NFL’s Washington Redskins and the MLB’s Cleveland Indians are toying with changing their team names and or logos. Now, it’s been reported that the Chicago Blackhawks are not joining suit and will not be altering their team name or logo.

The team made the announcement via an official statement (h/t Chicago Sun-Times)

The team is known for honoring Native American heritage at their games but have still received criticism for the name and logo that many feel is racist.
