Michigan State starting lineup: SG Aaron Henry

Henry is still exploring his options with the NBA but he is more likely to return to school at this point. Izzo would happily slide Henry back into the starting lineup if he does come back for his junior year.

As a sophomore Henry was a key playmaker, averaging 10 points per game and 4.6 rebounds per game. Henry posted modest stats increases across all of the major counting stats but notably saw his shooting percentage dip.

Improving his jump shot could be a good reason for the athletic wing to return to school for another year. Henry is also a solid defender who can make an impact against other twos and threes across the Big Ten.

One other consideration for this spot could be redshirt senior Joshua Langford, who reportedly wants to come back and play one more season. Langford hasn’t played since January of 2018 due to lingering foot problems.

Having a guy like Langford back would give the Spartans some more perimeter shooting, which would be very helpful. Given the long layoff, Langford has had it might be more realistic to expect him to work off the bench as a sixth man.
