Harry Miller | Sophomore | OL

Harry Miller is yet another former 5-star that is going to be looking to make an impact for the Buckeyes coming up this season. The Buckeyes have two spots open on the offensive line this year, with the most prominent being the hole that guard Jonah Jackson has left.

The job with limited time in spring practice is still slightly up in the air, but Harry Miller seems to be the leader in the clubhouse to take over at that guard position.

Miller is a 6-foot-3, 305-pounder on the line hailing from Buford, Georgia and was the No. 1 center in the country in the 2019 class. He didn’t get a ton of playing time for the Buckeyes in the 2019 season, but he showed a lot of promise in clean up roles as well as in practice.

If not for the Buckeye line being so experienced last season, Miller would have a fantastic shot at starting, but he just couldn’t crack the lineup. This year, he will have to move from center to guard, but with how seamless the transition from high school to college football was in 2019, that doesn’t seem like it will be much of a problem.

He is a former valedictorian at Buford High School in Georgia as well, adding on to the belief that he will have no trouble moving over on the line. Head coach Ryan Day has already mentioned Miller as a potential candidate for that guard spot on the line and seeing that he makes the transition, he has a good chance to have a breakout season in 2020.
