Pick Analysis. SS. Cleveland Indians. Francisco Lindor. 1. Scouting Report. player. 5

There are several converging factors that could help make this trade a reality fir the Dodgers. First, the Indians continue to show reluctance when it comes to giving Lindor a long-term contract. Second, the Dodgers have shown that they will add superstar players whenever they become available, even it means giving away parts of their big league roster.

The Dodgers have enough pieces on the big league team and in the minors to make a Lindor trade happen.

Unfortunately, Corey Seager will likely need to head to Cleveland in a Lindor trade, as giving him up would give the Indians a proven MLB starter and open up a hole at shortstop that Lindor, who smacked 32 home runs while playing his usual elite defense last year, could fill.

If the Dodgers are able to package Seager with two top prospects like catcher Keibert Ruiz, who has been made redundant due to the emergence of Will Smith, and right-hander Josiah Gray, the Dodgers could add one of the games premier players without having to part ways with Gavin Lux or Dustin May.
