Pick Analysis. 5. player. Scouting Report. WR. Detroit Lions. Kenny Golladay. 50

Golladay wouldn’t be most experts’ pick as the most productive wideout in the NFC North, but he’s quietly blossoming into one of the most intimidating wide receivers in football. A healthy Matthew Stafford should position the 26-year-old receiver to have a career season in 2020.

After all, he managed to make 65 catches for 1,190 yards for a really bad football team in 2019. If the Lions can stay in the playoff hunt, it’s a safe bet that their offense will be the unit leading the way.

The risk in backing Golladay to lead the NFL in receiving is the amount of competition for targets he’ll have in Detroit. Stafford likes to spread the ball around and Marvin Jones is a really good No. 2 option. Danny Amendola could also cut into Golladay’s workload from the slot.

That doesn’t change the fact that Golladay is a physical freak who can win individual battles with any defensive back in the league. That gives him a very high floor as an elite receiver. No one around the league would be surprised to see him make the transition from Pro Bowl to All-Pro in 2020.
