5 NFL teams who could sign Antonio Brown
1. Baltimore Ravens
Though they can hardly be ruled out of a possible pursuit, reports have been conflicted about the Ravens’ interest in Brown.
Brown worked out with Lamar Jackson and Marquise Brown (a Ravens WR and Brown’s cousin) this spring, which naturally fueled speculation. In May, Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta did not rule out signing Brown while not directly answering a question from Adam Schein, who asked about the seven-time Pro Bowler on Sirius XM.
"“We’re always assessing the players out there on the streets,” he said. “We’re looking at guys, we’re making decisions that we think are best for the club, and if we think there’s a guy out there who fits us, who’s got the skill-set to provide value, we’ll certainly pounce on that type of guy. “As Ozzie [Newsome] always used to tell me, we don’t play games until September, so we’ve got a lot of time to build the best team we can build, and we’ll continue to do that.”"
With the quarterback fully on board with the idea, and the GM hardly ruling it out, Antonio Brown to Ravens has undeniable, lingering steam. In a concerted effort to get over the playoff hump this year and compete with the Kansas City Chiefs’ prolific offense, a healthy and motivated Brown would be an interesting piece in Baltimore.
