NFL Second-Team All-Pro Special Teams

Placekicker

Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens

Tucker is one of the top kickers in football history. Playing in a high-profile offense helps raise his stock, so he’ll continue to get recognized.

2019 Honoree: Josh Lambo, Jacksonville Jaguars

Punter

Bryan Anger, Houston Texans

Anger is not only one of the top punters in football, but the Texans’ nine-year veteran should also get ample opportunity to show it playing for an offense which has lost its’ top weapon in the offseason.

2019 Honoree: Tress Way, Washington Redskins

Kick Returner

Cordarrelle Patterson, Chicago Bears

Patterson, 29, is still one of the most effective returners in football. He’ll continue to be so for an improved Bears team in 2020.

2019 Honoree: Mecole Hardman, Kansas City Chiefs

Punt Returner

Deonte Harris, New Orleans Saints

Harris may very well be the best punt returner in the NFL. This season, he’ll be tremendous, but barely be edged out by Cohen for First-Team honors.

2019 Honoree: Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers

Special Teamer

Michael Thomas, Houston Texans
Adrian Phillips, New England Patriots

The AP will continue to name specials teams aces to the All-Pro squad to give these often under-recognized players some fanfare. Thomas and Phillips were Pro Bowlers in 2019 for their work on special teams (albeit on different teams), and fit here well for continuing to stand out in special teams play.

2019 Honoree: Cordarrelle Patterson, Chicago Bears; J.T. Gray, New Orleans Saints
