Predicting the 2020 NFL All-Pro Team
NFL Second-Team All-Pro Offense
Quarterback
Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks
Until another quarterback in the NFL puts together even two consecutive All-Pro caliber seasons, it will be difficult to win an argument for why Wilson is not the second-best quarterback in the NFL. The Seahawks will be better in 2020 than a season ago, especially on offense.
2019 Honoree: Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks
Running Back
Christian McCaffrey, Carolina Panthers
The Panthers’ offense, despite a new coach and a new quarterback, will still go through McCaffrey. He is outstanding and will continue to be one of the top backs in football for the next five years.
2019 Honoree: Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans
Flex
Alvin Kamara, New Orleans Saints
A quieter third year in 2019 should not dampen expectations for what Kamara means to the Saints. There is only so much action to go around in the loaded offense Sean Payton has constructed – but Kamara is still the second-best weapon.
2019 Honoree: Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans
Tight End
George Kittle, San Franciso 49ers
Make no mistake, Kittle is a great tight end. Choosing between him and Kelce was tough, but one has Patrick Mahomes and the other gets Jimmy Garoppolo. Within the next five years, his time will come as the best in the game – but for now, he’s number two.
2019 Honoree: Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs
Wide Receivers
Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs
De’Andre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals
Hill has been unfairly pigeonholed as a “speed-only” guy through his first four years in the NFL. But, he’s also developed an uncanny knack for high-pointing and fighting for the football, and some of the dirtiest routes and cuts the league has ever seen.
This offseason, he’s packed on muscle to improve his durability; a 16-game Tyreek Hill is one of the top wideouts in football.
Hopkins, long established as one of the top wideouts in football, is going to love playing for Kliff Kingsbury and with Kyler Murray in Arizona.
2019 Honorees: Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons; Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
