6. Philip Rivers, Indianapolis Colts

This may be a little high for Rivers, but he used this offseason to sign with the perfect team for him at this stage in his career. We should expect Rivers to put up another strong season with solid numbers after struggling in 2019.

While last show showed that age is taking its’ toll on the long-time Charger, he still threw for 4,600 yards and 23 touchdowns. With the running backs, offensive line and defense around him in Indianapolis – Rivers is going to have a quality season and return to the playoffs.

5. Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

This will be my most controversial pick.

Allen had a less than stellar rookie season, but the team went 10-6 in year two and returned to the playoffs. Expect an even better season from Allen in 2020 following a year when he threw for over 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Buffalo not only adds a season of experience for its young core, but also added the talented Stefon Diggs in a trade with the Minnesota Vikings. All arrows are pointing up in Buffalo and the division, should be for the Bills as well with future Hall of Famer Tom Brady moving to the NFC.
