4. Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers

In 2018, Roethlisberger passed for over 5,100 yards and launched 36 touchdowns. During that year he completed 67 percent of his passes and had a quarterback rating of 96.5. In 2019, the future Hall of Famer was abysmal in two starts, and missed the duration of the season due to an elbow injury. It was clear from jump something wasn’t right.

Now, Big Ben has returned to full health and the Steelers are counting on him to help steer them back to the playoffs. The big question is whether the 38-year-old reverts back to his previous form or is sapped by the elbow injury. We’re taking the former.

With a healthy James Conner running behind Roethlisberger, there is no reason to believe this is not a good Pittsburgh team.

With his resume, it is only fair we give Roethlisberger the benefit of the doubt, and give him a mulligan on injury-laden starts in 2019. Unless 2020 proves otherwise, he’s one of the best quarterbacks in the AFC.
