6. DeVante Parker

Parker has always teased his coaches with his talent, but 2019 was the first season he really put things together on the field. There’s a chance he’s just a one-hit-wonder, but the Dolphins believe he has the talent to grow into a consistent No. 1 wideout.

Miami would be pleased if Parker simply showed he can replicate his numbers from last season on a regular basis. 72 catches for 1,202 yards and nine touchdowns is really good production. Adding Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback could give Parker the chance to achieve even greater statistical heights.

When Parker is locked in and focused, he shows an excellent combination of athleticism and skill on the outside. His ability to come in and out of his breaks at a high speed allows him to create meaningful separation against quality cornerbacks. He gives his quarterbacks a large margin of error on most throws.

The question is whether or not Parker can keep his head down and continue to produce at a high level. The Dolphins need him to consolidate his gains from 2019 if they’re going to take a step forward this season. Betting against a player with this much talent is a poor choice.
