NFC Power Rankings: 10-6

10. Chicago Bears

Maybe we’re a bit too high on the Bears, but given their stout defensive group led by Khalil Mack and the fact that Matt Nagy’s seat is starting to warm slightly, we expect better from Chicago this season. Mitchell Trubisky has to be better than his 2019 version, right?

9. Arizona Cardinals

Give Kliff Kingsbury credit, he’s more than just a man who looks like Sean McVay. Kyler Murray is the real deal, and trading for DeAndre Hopkins remains the coup of the offseason. If the Cardinals can make incremental defensive improvements around Chandler Jones and Patrick Peterson, the sky is the limit.

8. Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys lost Byron Jones and Randall Cobb, but for the most part they were able to make up for those departures thanks to timely additions in the draft. CeeDee Lamb is going to be a stud, and Dallas still has Dak and Zeke to bank on. This should be a playoff time, despite their current ranking.

7. Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings losing Stefon Diggs and Everson Griffen will rear its ugly head at some point this coming season. Mike Zimmer should be trusted, but with Anthony Harris rumors abound and Cook’s contract status, there’s a reason they’re the clear No. 2 in the NFC North.

6. Philadelphia Eagles

Adding Darius Slay will make for a healthy upgrade in the Philly secondary, and Jalen Reagor has legit No. 1 potential at wideout. If Carson Wentz can stay healthy — and that’s a big if — Philly should improve upon their 9-7 mark from last season.
